  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add beef and brown on all sides.
  3. Stir in onions, carrots, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in beef broth and add salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
  6. Simmer for 1.5 hours until beef is tender.
  7. Remove bay leaves before serving.
