This oven-baked cheesy garlic bread features crisp edges, a soft center, and layers of garlic butter and gooey cheese. A perfect side or snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 crusty French loaf or ciabatta

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 34 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Slice bread lengthwise and place cut side up on a baking sheet.

  • Combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread the mixture over the bread halves.

  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden.

  • Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra color.

  • Let cool slightly, then cut and serve warm.
