This oven-baked cheesy garlic bread features crisp edges, a soft center, and layers of garlic butter and gooey cheese. A perfect side or snack for any occasion.
1 crusty French loaf or ciabatta
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
¼ cup grated Parmesan
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice bread lengthwise and place cut side up on a baking sheet.
Combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spread the mixture over the bread halves.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra color.
Let cool slightly, then cut and serve warm.
