These chicken tenders are coated in crushed Cool Ranch Doritos for a bold, crispy finish. Easy to bake, fry, or air fry, they’re perfect for dinner, snacks, or party appetizers.

1.5 lbs boneless chicken tenders or breast strips
2 cups Cool Ranch Doritos, crushed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Neutral oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (if baking).

  2. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Set up dredging station: one bowl with flour and optional spices, one with eggs, one with crushed Doritos.

  4. Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then press into crushed chips.

  5. For oven: arrange on wire rack, spray lightly, and bake 18–22 minutes, turning halfway.

  6. For skillet: heat oil over medium and fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden.

  7. For air fryer: cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping once and spraying lightly with oil.

  8. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
