These chicken tenders are coated in crushed Cool Ranch Doritos for a bold, crispy finish. Easy to bake, fry, or air fry, they’re perfect for dinner, snacks, or party appetizers.
1.5 lbs boneless chicken tenders or breast strips
2 cups Cool Ranch Doritos, crushed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Neutral oil or cooking spray
Preheat oven to 400°F (if baking).
Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
Set up dredging station: one bowl with flour and optional spices, one with eggs, one with crushed Doritos.
Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then press into crushed chips.
For oven: arrange on wire rack, spray lightly, and bake 18–22 minutes, turning halfway.
For skillet: heat oil over medium and fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
For air fryer: cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping once and spraying lightly with oil.
Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
