Creamy Jalapeño Popper Chicken Bake features tender chicken topped with a rich mix of cream cheese, jalapeños, cheddar, and bacon, all baked to bubbly perfection. It’s bold, satisfying, and easy to customize.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in dish.

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar, jalapeños, and half the bacon.

  • Spread mixture over each piece of chicken.

  • Top with the remaining cheese and bacon.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  • Uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

  • Rest 5 minutes before garnishing with green onions.
