A golden, crusty loaf stuffed with creamy garlic chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan, baked until melty and crisp. Perfect for serving at gatherings or enjoying as a comforting meal.
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 large crusty French or Italian loaf
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt butter, add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in parsley.
In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, ¼ cup Parmesan, seasonings, and 1 tbsp garlic butter.
Slice bread lengthwise and remove some of the inside to make room for filling.
Fill both halves with chicken mixture, then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Close the loaf, brush with garlic butter and olive oil.
Wrap in foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Unwrap and bake for another 8–10 minutes until golden.
Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
