8 chicken drumsticks
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or lightly oil it.
Pat drumsticks dry and arrange them in the dish.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in honey and soy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Pour the glaze over the chicken and turn to coat evenly.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, basting halfway through.
Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
