Tender chicken simmered in a rich balsamic glaze with garlic and cherry tomatoes — all in one skillet. This quick and easy recipe delivers deep flavor and easy cleanup.

  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar

  • 1½ tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh basil or thyme (optional), chopped

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–6 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan.

  • Lower heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in vinegar and honey, scraping the pan. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

  • Return chicken to pan. Add cherry tomatoes. Cook uncovered 6–8 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and tomatoes soften.

  • Sprinkle with herbs. Spoon glaze over chicken and serve warm.
